The Competition opens on 21st November 2011 and closes on 16th May 2012. Full information and entry form are included on this official website, which is generously being hosted by John Catt Educational.

This national competition offers all 4-14 year olds the opportunity to show off their handwriting and provides the opportunity for teachers and individual pupils to ensure handwriting continues to be an essential part of our educational process. For a teacher, competition is a great way to motivate children and for an individual pupil a way to show off a skill, demonstrate artistic flair, control of a medium and individual style. There are prizes to be gained by Class winners and Individual Age Group winners. We are very pleased to announce that prizes in all categories will be generously supplied to us by the Manuscript Pen Company Ltd.

Satips will donate the cash prizes for the winning school and runner-up school. We are delighted that Patricia Lovett, expert, scribe and lecturer, will be again working with the panel of judges to evaluate the entries for legibility, flow, consistency, individuality, layout and tidiness.
